​MIRKA JENDRISKOVA

My journey into mala making began as a personal quest for peace, presence, and connection. Originally from Slovakia, I found my soul’s home on the Sunshine Coast of Australia—where ocean air, natural beauty, and a slower pace of life gave me space to breathe and be.

In 2014, after completing my yoga teacher training, I felt a deep calling to create something tangible that embodied the peace and presence I discovered through my practice. This inspiration led to the birth of Lush Mala Beads, where each piece is handcrafted with love, using sacred Rudraksha seeds or Sandalwood beads, ethically sourced crystals, and natural materials like silk and cotton.

Mala making became a meditation in itself—each bead knotted with care, each design guided by energy, intuition, and beauty. I love creating custom malas for people on their own spiritual paths, knowing these sacred strands can offer grounding, strength, and inspiration.

Outside the studio, my greatest joy is travelling and adventuring with my family—exploring new cultures, wild landscapes, and the little magical moments along the way. Whether we’re hiking through rainforests or wandering through ancient temples, these shared adventures keep my spirit alive and creativity flowing.

Lush Mala Beads is more than a business—it’s a reflection of my journey, my values, and my love for beauty, presence, and the stories we carry with us.
